Splash of Colors: Kids Watercolor Class

Welcome to "Splash of Colors," a delightful and interactive watercolor class specially designed for young aspiring artists! Join us on a colorful journey where creativity knows no bounds and imaginations run wild.

In this fun-filled class, children will dive into the magical world of watercolor painting, discovering the wonders of this versatile medium. 

Highlights of the class include:

1. Watercolor Basics - Children will learn the fundamentals of watercolor painting, including color mixing, brush techniques, and creating beautiful washes.

2. Artistic Exploration -  Encouraging creativity, kids will experiment with different watercolor techniques, such as wet-on-wet, dry brushing, and resist methods, fostering their artistic expression.

3. Thematic Projects - Each session will feature exciting and age-appropriate projects inspired by nature, animals, fantasy worlds, and more, allowing children to express themselves through a variety of themes.

This class is tailored for kids of all skill levels, from beginners taking their first steps in watercolor painting to those seeking to enhance their existing skills. We aim to spark imagination, encourage self-expression, and instill a lifelong love for art in young hearts.

Materials Included:

- Watercolor paints

- Watercolor paper or pad

- Assorted brushes (round, flat)

- Palette

- Water cup and paper towels

Join us for a splashing good time as we dive into the world of watercolors, where young artists will unleash their creativity and paint their colorful dreams onto paper! Let your child's imagination flourish in this vibrant and inspiring watercolor exploration class. The age requirement is 8 y/o - 12 y/o.  This class meets once a week on Saturdays 10:00am - 11:00am for 4 consecutive Saturdays Feb10th, 17th and 24th and March 2nd.
